Um acidente entre uma balsa de passageiros e uma embarcação carregada de caminhões deixou ao menos uma pessoa morta e feridos em Muaná, no Marajó, neste sábado (6). A colisão foi por volta das 2h, segundo testemunhas. Há relatos de pessoas feridas e também de pessoas desaparecidas.
Até então, há confirmação de que cinco pessoas foram socorridas e levadas para receber atendimento médico em Muaná. Um navio saiu de Portel para ajudar a socorrer as vítimas. As causas do acidente ainda devem ser investigadas, de acordo com informações de autoridades locais.
Uma das embarcações “São Domingos III”, que quase naufragou, pertence a empresários de Muaná e saiu de Belém com destino a Oeiras do Pará. A balsa foi atingida pela “Norte Log” na região de Ponta Negra. A prefeitura de Muaná disse que vai emitir nota sobre o caso.
