A Fake News tem ganhado grande proporção quando o assunto se trata de política e saúde, uma das dicas para tentar fugir desse mal da desinformação, é buscar fontes oficiais sobre os citados do conteúdo que a pessoa estiver lendo.
Para tentar fugir da desinformação quando se trata de assuntos tão importante para a vida das pessoas, como a doação de sangue, o Hemopa elencou um dos principais mitos sobre o ato de doar sangue, e que vai ajudar esclarecer melhor sobre este ato de solidariedade.
“ Doar sangue dói” – MENTIRA. A doação de sangue não machuca e nem causar dor durante a bolsa de sangue está enchendo. A agulha para a coleta do sangue tem um calibre um pouco maior que as de exames convencionais de hemograma, pois facilita o fluxo sanguíneo. Mas isso não causa dores e nem machuca o braço do doador.
“ Quem doa sangue , fica fraco”- MENTIRA. Uma pessoa adulta tem cerca de cinco litros de sangue no corpo. Durante a doação são retirados apenas 450ml, em média, que são recuperados em 24h pelo organismo. É importante destacar que quem doa sangue deve evitar esforços excessivos durante as 24h. isso não significa que o doador deve ficar deitado, sem fazer nada. Vida normal sem excesso.
“Pode pegar alguma doença.”- MENTIRA– o processo de doação de sangue é totalmente seguro. Todos os materiais utilizados para a coleta são descartáveis.
“Tem que ficar em jejum”- MENTIRA. O doador de sangue precisa estar bem alimentado, evitando ingerir alimentos gordurosos e estar bem de saúde. É importante lembrar que a doação vai para alguém que está debilitado e precisa ficar bem. É bom não confundir doação de sangue com exame de hemograma.
“Quem toma remédio contínuo não pode doar.” – Não é bem assim. Existem medicamentos que são de uso contínuo, mas não inabilitam a doação. Você só saberá passando pelo processo de triagem.
“Quem teve Hepatite não pode doar.” – Depende. Quem teve Hepatite A até 10 anos de idade, pode doar, pois essa é a forma mais branda da doença. Já quem teve Hepatite B ou C não pode ser um doador, pois existe risco de vírus da hepatite estar presente no sangue ainda.
“Quem pegou Covid-19 não pode doar.” – Não é verdade. Qem teve Covid-19 e está bem de saúde, precisa esperar 30 dias após a cura e pode voltar a doar. Quem teve contato com pessoas que tiveram a doença deve esperar 14 dias após o último contato.
Segundo a Juciara Farias, gerente de captação de doadores do Hemopa, essas são algumas das principais fake News sobre a doação de sangue.
“Esses tipos de mitos que são criados no entorno da doação de sangue acabam prejudicando um fluxo de captação de novos voluntários à causa. O que se torna muito prejudicial para o sistema de saúde como um todo. A doação é a única fonte de ter hemocomponentes que são remédios essenciais para a vida de alguém. Não temos como comprar sangue e nem fabricar. Por isso, quanto mais se esclarecer sobre este processo, mais teremos voluntários dispostos a ajudar a salvar vidas”, esclareceu Juciara.
Veja critérios básicos para a doação de sangue
Quem deseja ser um voluntário à doação de sangue precisa ter entre 16 e 69 anos (menores de idade devem estar acompanhados de um responsável legal); se for a primeira doação, o limite é até 59 anos. Pesar mais de 50 kg, estar bem alimentado e com a saúde em dia.
No momento do cadastro, o voluntário deve apresentar uma carteira de identidade oficial com foto (RG, CNH, Carteira de Trabalho ou passaporte).
Lembrando que quem teve Covid-19 também pode voltar a doar, só precisa esperar 30 dias após a cura. Quem teve contato com pessoas que tiveram a doença deve esperar 14 dias após o último contato. Para quem recebeu a vacina Coronavac/Butantã, são 48 horas de inaptidão para doação, após cada dose. Já as demais vacinas basta esperar sete dias após cada dose.
