    Pistoleiros executam vereador de Mocajuba na orla da cidade

    Dois homens armados em uma motocicleta de cor, placa e modelo desconhecidos mataram a tiros, por volta de 1h da madrugada desta segunda-feira, 31, o vereador Gabriel Lopes, do Partido Solidariedade de Mocajuba. O crime, que tem características de execução, já que nada levaram da vítima, ocorreu na orla fluvial da cidade.

    A vítima ainda tentou correr para escapar à fúria dos assassinos, mas foi liquidada sem dó nem piedade. Em ato contínuo, os bandidos subiram na moto e tomaram rumo ignorado.
    Em Mocajuba, a 250 quilômetros de Belém, no nordeste do Pará, região do Baixo-Tocantins, o clima é de revolta e, ao mesmo tempo, medo entre a população e pessoas que conheciam o vereador Gabriel Lopes.


    Até o começo da manhã desta segunda-feira, a polícia ainda não tinha um mote para as investigações, mas, segundo informes procedentes de Mocajuba, também no município de Nova Esperança do Piriá, outro vereador, Benedito da Costa (PL), presidente da Câmara Municipal, escapou ileso de uma tentativa de assassinato ocorrida na noite de anteontem, sábado, 29. O crime se registrou na frente de um restaurante da cidade.


    Contatada pela reportagem de A PROVÍNCIA DO PARÁ, a assessoria de comunicação do vereador Gabriel Lopes não informou se ele vinha recebendo algum tipo de ameaça, se estava com algum problema pessoal que pudesse redundar na execução ocorrida nesta madrugada. Informou, apenas, que o velório começa a ser realizado a partir das 13h e que foi decretado luto oficial por três dias em Mocajuba.
